We are excited to announce the selection of Michael Shaw as our new Executive Director. Mike has been a passionate contributor to all facets of the organization and brings a breadth of perspective and experience to this important role. Shaw’s resume’ includes over 35 years of management, business, and nonprofit experience which includes serving as a President and CEO, Program Manager, Director of Sales and Marketing, Operations Manager, and General Manager. His background also includes significant work as an independent business and nonprofit consultant. As a business owner and cellist, Mike brings a unique balance of business principles and in-depth knowledge of the performing arts community and his understanding of the challenges of nonprofit orchestras and youth music programs has provided him with opportunity to speak on issues focused on board development, organizational structure, fundraising, and sound fiscal management. ...
